After-hours fundraiser supports big cat conservation

The Erie Zoo will host its annual Felines & Wines, a 21-and-over event, on Saturday, August 9, offering guests an evening of tastings, shopping, and live entertainment in support of big cat conservation.

Felines & Wines is a ticketed fundraiser that features regional wineries, meaderies, and distilleries offering complimentary samples. Local vendors will be located throughout the Zoo, and food will be available for purchase from Brady’s Chuckwagon and Chuck & Ginny’s food trucks.

The evening also includes live music and exclusive animal demonstrations that highlight the Zoo’s work with big cats and the importance of continued conservation efforts.

“This is one of the Zoo’s signature fundraising events,” said Roo Kojancie, president and CEO of the Erie Zoo. “Felines & Wines brings together community partners and supporters to enjoy a unique experience while helping us protect vulnerable species through education and outreach.”
