Get ready to turn up the volume on your summer. WQLN PBS NPR is thrilled to announce the long-awaited return of Sounds Around Town, Erie’s free outdoor concert series that transforms Friday nights into evenings of music, community and summer magic.

This year’s series features four nights of live, local music — each packed with irresistible sounds, good vibes and unforgettable memories. From reggae rhythms to bluesy rock to jam band grooves, there’s something for everyone.

The 2025 lineup includes:

  • Friday, July 11 — David Devine & Friends
  • Friday, July 18 — Lopaka Rootz
  • Friday, July 25 — Ron Yarosz & The Vehicle
  • Friday, Aug. 1 — Kactai

All shows begin at 7:30 p.m. at the WQLN Pavilion, 8425 Peach St. in Erie. Admission is free.

Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, picnic blankets, snacks, and friends — or come solo and join a community of music lovers ready to soak up the summer air and enjoy Erie’s outstanding local talent.

Each concert will also be professionally recorded on-site and broadcast later on WQLN PBS and WQLN NPR — with audiences invited to be part of the show.
