The owners behind The Buzz of Union City Cafe is expanding to Erie with the Grand Opening of their second location: Buzz at Copperleaf Cafe, officially opening Thursday, July 24, 2025, at 2900 Copperleaf Dr, Erie, PA 16509.
Owned and operated by Greg and Kathy Bowes, Buzz at Copperleaf Cafe brings the same commitment to specialty beverages, house-made bakery treats, all-day breakfast, and fresh lunch options, including soups and sandwiches.
A special highlight of the new location will be flights of specialty beverages, allowing guests to sample and enjoy a variety of Buzz at Copperleaf Cafe’s signature drinks—from craft coffees and teas to seasonal specials and house-made mocktails.
“We’re thrilled to grow our family of cafes with this new location in Erie,” says co-owner Kathy Bowes. “Our goal has always been to create warm, inviting spaces where friends, families, and neighbors can come together over great coffee and fresh food with our commitment to give every customer an amazing experience each visit.”
The Bowes family opened The Buzz of Union City Cafe in January 2021, earning a loyal following for their quality menu, cozy atmosphere, and strong community focus.

New sign-ups receive 25 bonus points ($2.50 value), and members enjoy $5 off during their birthday month plus 2x points every Monday.
