In a Facebook post Saturday morning, the Erie Downtown Partnership announced that they are cancelling the remaining scheduled Movie Monday night events in Perry Square because of “escalating disruptive and dangerous behavior.”
The post indicated that despite increasing security measures, the movie night event had attracted those wishing to engage in bad behavior. An attempt to find another location within the EDP’s footprint was not successful.
