In a Monday evening Facebook post, Gannon University President Dr. Walter Iwanenko issued a statement regarding “deeply disturbing social media posts” from members of the Gannon community regarding the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk at a Utah university on Sept. 10th.
In response, the post announced that “the university has initiated disciplinary actions, including termination.”
