Today, as the nation recognizes the special 250th birthday of the United States Marine Corps, the Pennsylvania State Police of Troop E is proud to support the Marine Corps Toys for Tots program and help positively impact a child’s life.

The two organizations, partners on Toys for Tots since 2016, are asking the public to join the mission of providing happiness, hope, and the joy of Christmas to local children in need.

The Tenth Annual “Stuff the Cruiser” Event is set to be held Saturday, November 22, between 12:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. at the Summit Township Walmart store at 1825 Downs Drive in Erie.

Donors are being asked to “Stuff the Cruiser” by giving new, unwrapped, non-violent toys for boys and girls ages infant to 17 years of age.

This year’s special 10th anniversary event features costumed superhero characters and an early season visit by Santa Claus.

The Marines and Troopers thank Walmart for continuing to host this yearly event that brings out the very best of the Erie community’s big heart and generous holiday spirit.
