The City of Erie has delayed garbage collection by one day. Due to extreme cold temperatures, there will be no pickup on Monday, January 26, 2026.
All garbage scheduled for today, Monday, January 26, will be collected on Tuesday, January 27, with the rest of the week’s pickup schedule also delayed by one day.
Reminder for residents: To help keep streets clear, the Erie Parking Authority has made their garage at 712 Peach Street available at no cost to anyone who wants to get their car off the streets. Cars can park in that garage for free until Tuesday morning.
