Beginning March 2, 2026, listeners who tune in to 91.3 FM will hear a refreshed sound as WQLN launches a new radio programming lineup.
WQLN will continue airing beloved local programs, including Classics with Brian Hannah, JazzFlight, The Third Set, Bop’n the Blues, Sonic Sounds, Saturday Swing Session, Lush Life, Music of Faith, Dark Skies, and Next to You, as well as national favorites Morning Edition,
Fresh Air, and All Things Considered.
Several new programs from familiar voices will also join the lineup, including Overnight Classics with Brian Hannah; Your Mother Should Know with Gary Finney — featuring B-sides and deep cuts from rock records; and A Well-Tempered Broadcast with Brian Hannah, which explores Baroque and early classical music.
“WQLN is dedicated to providing our community with the best programming possible,” said Bradley Thompson, television, radio and digital programmer at WQLN. “Because of federal funding cuts, we have had to make some difficult decisions about the programming we carry. Due to the loss of financial support we once had, we had no choice but to remove the programs that cost the most in order to continue serving the community. Thank you for supporting WQLN and its continued mission to educate, entertain, and engage you.”
The refreshed lineup also introduces a diverse mix of nationally and internationally recognized programs, including The WFMT Orchestra Series, Classical Guitar Alive!, PRX Remix 24/7, High Country Celtic Radio, Feminine Fusion, The Midnight Special, Atomic Age Cocktail Party, The Ezra Klein Show, Indigenous in Music with Larry K, Left, Right & Center, Tech Nation, Alternative Radio, Collectors’ Corner, Baroque & Before, Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center and Fiesta: Latin American Music with Elbio Barilari, offering something for everyone.
