Mary Mae Gardens, a locally owned florist and flower farm, had a grand opening celebration of its first retail storefront at Colony Plaza Thursday morning. The event featured an official ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Erie Regional Chamber and Growth Partnership and Millcreek Township Supervisors, along with complimentary refreshments, giveaways, and promotions.
Founded as a small flower farm, Mary Mae Gardens has grown into a full-service florist rooted in the belief that flowers help people celebrate, comfort, connect, and mark life’s meaningful moments. The new storefront offers fresh grab-and-go bouquets, custom floral designs, wedding and event florals, sympathy arrangements, houseplants, gifts, home décor, bouquet subscriptions, workshops, and unique botanical-inspired products — all in a space designed to welcome the community, spark conversation, and cultivate a shared love of gardening.
