Originating from Grove City College, and broadcast on Newsmax, five candidates for Pennsylvania’s US Senate seat debated last night, discussing inflation, energy, foreign policy, and the Commonwealth’s brain drain. While discussing the leaked draft opinion from the Supreme Court over Roe v Wade and abortion, candidate Kathy Barnette revealed her story.

“I am so very grateful that our nation is having a very important conversation, and that is a very important conversation that is about life,” Barnette remarked. “I am the byproduct of a rape. My mother was 11 years old when I was conceived, my father was 21. I was not just a lump of cells.”

Front runners Mehmet Oz and David McCormick traded accusations between themselves and other contenders, including Barnette, Jeff Bartos, and Carla Sands.
