Gannon University is hosting its Celebrate Gannon event to showcase the scholarly and creative work of students this Friday, April 24, at its Erie, Pa. and Ruskin, Fla. campuses.

Celebrate Gannon is an annual event that celebrates the culmination of a year’s worth of scholarship, research, engagement and fine art collaborations between students, faculty and staff. The students’ work will be on display in the Highmark Events Center in Erie and the Academic Building in Ruskin for the Gannon and surrounding communities to engage with the student presenters. Every submission to Celebrate Gannon is the result of students collaborating with faculty and staff on projects that evolve from course work, independent research projects and student service projects.

“The presentations submitted for this year’s event reflect an exceptional level of thought and creativity,” said Sarah Ewing, Ph.D., provost and vice president for student experience. “Celebrate Gannon continues to showcase our students’ dedication to scholarship and innovation, as well as their commitment to making a meaningful impact as socially responsible, faith-filled citizens.”

The university is also proud to kick off its Celebrate Gannon Day of Giving at 8 p.m. on April 23 through 8 p.m. on April 24. During Day of Giving, supporters can make a difference by contributing to an area that means the most to them. Every gift is a belief in our mission and commitment to the success of our students.
