Lineup Features Diverse Genres and National Acts
The Cultures, Arts, Festivals, and Events of Erie (CAFE) announced the headlining performers for CelebrateErie during a press conference on Monday, May 11. This year’s entertainment lineup features nationally recognized acts spanning hip-hop, pop-rock, and classic rock.
“CelebrateErie is about bringing people of all ages and backgrounds together and showcasing the unique features that make our city so special,” said Hunter Lytle, Executive Director of CAFE. “This year’s entertainment offers something for everyone and continues to build on the momentum and excitement surrounding downtown Erie.”
Grammy Award-winning hip-hop group Arrested Development, pop-rock favorites Plain White T’s, and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee and Grammy Award-winning musician Al Jardine & The Pet Sounds Band will headline the multi-day festival celebration. Jardine is a founding member of The Beach Boys.
CelebrateErie, the City’s signature summer festival, brings thousands of residents and visitors downtown each year to enjoy live music, food vendors, family activities, cultural experiences, local artists, and entertainment across multiple stages.
The 2026 festival lineup reflects CAFE’s commitment to offering a wide variety of entertainment that appeals to audiences of diverse backgrounds and musical tastes.
CAFE is also currently accepting applications for local performers, food and shopping vendors, chalkwalk artists, and volunteers to join this year’s festival. Applications are open through May 22.
CelebrateErie will take place in downtown Erie from Friday, August 14th to Sunday, August 16th.

Lytle also announced the Sounds of Summer bands. This free concert series, which features local music at senior living communities throughout the city, will take place every Monday from July 6th through August 10th and is open to the public.
