At Tuesday’s Study Session, Erie City Council rescinded its 4-2 vote from last month to deny a Waterfront Conditional Use for the Erie Events Market House, and voted unanimously in favor of the project to move forward.
The 7-0 vote came after additional information from the project’s architects and testimony from civic leaders encouraging Council to approve the Market House.
After the vote Erie Mayor Daria Devlin thanked Council for their vote, and encouraged citizens to get involved in a summer-long Bayfront planning process that would steer further development along Erie’s waterfront.
