To help inform Erie County’s Comprehensive Housing Strategy, the County is inviting all residents to attend community engagement Open House meetings. The goal of the meetings is to gather perspectives from Erie County residents about housing challenges they are experiencing, provide insights on housing preferences, and inform residents about housing efforts across the County. The Open Houses will not feature a formal presentation, but it will have an open format with interactive activities facilitated by the County’s consulting group, TPMA.
The Erie County Planning Department is inviting all residents to attend one of four Community Housing Open Houses:
- Corry area location on Tuesday, August 11th
- Girard area location on Wednesday, August 12th
- Edinboro area location on Tuesday, August 18th
- City of Erie area location in late August/early September (this meeting will be held in partnership with the City of Erie; please be on the lookout for more information on this meeting)
The first three sessions will feature the same format and content, allowing residents to attend the session that best fits their schedule. The final session will feature an abridged version of the former three engagements and include content about the City of Erie’s Housing Strategy, which is a separate but related project.
RSVPs are not required, but attendees are encouraged to RSVP via the link below to help organizers plan accordingly. Light refreshments will be provided. Full details about the event are included below:
